Our Team
| Following her training in Heidelberg
and after gaining some professional experience as a medical
technician, Monika Schrimpf earned a Diploma in Biology at the
University of Darmstadt. Afterwards she worked in the Datalibrary
of the European Molecular Biology Laboratories (EMBL) in Heidelberg,
establishing and administrating the protein database SwissProt.
In 1990 she joined Springer Publishers in Heidelberg, where
she played a decisive role in the department of Electronic Media.
In 1995 Ms. Schrimpf became the responsible commissioning editor
for the global program (books, journals and electronic media)
for internal medicine at Springer, covering all aspects from
planning through production to marketing and sales.
She joined Physicians World Europe in 1999, and has been
working on large global projects for key clients since then.
Ms. Schrimpf has extensive experience in the area of scientific
communication (printed and electronic) and in the management
and organization of events for medical education and scientific
marketing. Ms. Schrimpf is fluent in both English and French.
